Lynda !

Before talking about the famous logo with the famous lady with glasses, I'll talk in another topic which is missing, or underestimated among us which is "Self learning".

I've been for four years to one of the best faculties in Egypt "Faculty of Computers and Information - Cairo University", am not saying this because it's my faculty, but we've great staff of professors, teaching assistants.

one thing I'm grateful to FCI to have after graduation, which is "self learning", the way of teaching in FCI were traditional, but somehow you need to look at the books, references to understand what's being explained on the boring slideshow.

after this long intro, allow me to introduce you "Lynda.com" the best website ever in self learning, I owe it alot.

Lynda.com has a great collection of video tutorials in almost "everything" starting from "Video Editing" to "web development" and  "photography". Lynda talks to almost anyone, the computer rookie, the professional, the computer science student!

Lynda depends mainly on screen casts, a tutor explains everything and do it in front of your eyes, which is GREAT to people who learns by practicing like me.

this heaven is not for free, it comes with rate plans that's good for everyone, you can subscribe monthly, or yearly for amount of dollars.
p.s.: monthly subscribers does not have full access to all materials in courses.

Or just if you consider yourself a Robin Hood, just type Lynda in "the pirate bay" and enjoy the free courses

Knock Your life out...!

Mohammed Ali, the famous Mohamed Ali, was unbeatable in the game arena, so you're. Anyone is fighting his life, we all do but the difference between a battle and another is how long you last.

 Once upon a time a teacher of mine -Chemistry teacher- told me one thing : "Reem, Do you know why Al-Ahly wins all his matches?", I just shake my head saying "Abo Treka?"
 and he says "No, because Al Ahly lasts longer in the game, fights till the end ".

My teacher told me so to teach me how to be patient, last for my battle till I end it. your life fights you, in many ways: in your boring daily job, in your marriage, in your relationship with your parents, we all suffer, but we've peace in such different ways: some people runs away from their problems, and some face it.

Running away won't help you getting rid of anything, it may made it harder, harsher and more complex, I will tell you my story -am not perfect BTW-:

"I've left a very good job with a tempting salary in a multinational telecommunication company because I hated it, I turned into a machine setting to a machine, just answering automatically to customers without feeling satisfied, after 3 months of suffering I quit my job, left the warm zone to a frozen one." 

Now after leaving my job, I feel 3 feelings:

1- I took a wrong decision and I want to wear the headphone back.
2- I did the right thing "life is too short to waste".
3- I don't know what to do in life.

Actually I didn't quit my battle, I'm still fighting, but in my own way, in a job I love.

Bottom line is:
1- don't surrender to life's boring routine.
2- fight till the end.
3- make up your mind WELL before any decision.

Welcome Home...

this is the first post here in "Reem Speaking" my second blog, the professional blog i intend to write. I have another blog, which is personal, casually used to curse, confess and express, but this blog will be different.

How it'll be different? 

1- I'd be glad to blog in English, sometimes my thoughts come in English so let it be.
